Port of Lisbon was distinguished as the Best Atlantic Port in Europe in the third edition of the Cruceroadicto Awards, a prestigious international recognition, promoted by Cruceroadicto and voted exclusively by cruise passengers. The winners were announced at Fitur Cruises, a section dedicated to the cruise tourism sector, at the international trade fair FITUR Madrid 2025. Port of Lisbon stood out among the finalists in the category of Best Atlantic Port in Europe, which included the ports of Reykjavík (Iceland) and Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain). Voting, which ended on January 1, 2025, included the participation of travelers who embarked on cruises in recent months.

This award marks a significant evolution for the Port of Lisbon, which in 2023 had reached third place in the same category, behind Las Palmas Gran Canaria and La Coruña. This year's achievement confirms Lisbon as a reference in the sector and reinforces its commitment to providing an excellent experience to all tourists who choose the Portuguese capital as a port of call, departure or arrival.

The fact that we are chosen by the tourists who pass through our port reinforces the trust they place in us, not only for our excellent infrastructure, but also for our hospitality, security and constant effort to improve every detail of their experience. This award is a testament to the joint work of all our professionals and partners, who make the Port of Lisbon a unique destination in the Atlantic."

The Cruceroadicto Awards were created in 2022 by the online magazine Cruceroadicto, specialized in the cruise sector. These awards stand out for their transparency and impartiality, with the results determined exclusively by cruise passengers, based on their personal experiences. The organization ensures a rigorous voting process, in collaboration with the independent consultancy We-iN, guaranteeing the reliability of the results.
The Cruceroadicto Awards cover 16 categories, from best ships and shipping companies to best ports in various regions of the world, and are widely recognized for their credibility and commitment to transparency, certified by AENOR - Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification.
