Beato Multipurpose Terminal receives all kinds of general cargo, as well as some types of solid bulk. It essentially receives ships that connect mainland Portugal to Mediterranean countries, South Africa and South America. It is also dedicated to cold chain logistics, being equipped with a specialized warehouse with cold chambers.
