The Board of Directors of Port of Lisbon Authority received last 9th November  Jeremy Nixon, CEO of ONE, as well as the Country Head of ONE Portugal Isabel Azeredo, having taken this opportunity to make a brief overview of the future development projects of the port of Lisbon, particularly the projects to modernize the Alcântara Container Terminal, the Tagus Navigability and the on-shore power supply. During the visit, ONE representatives also had the opportunity to visit TCA and observe on the site the investments that are already being made and that will allow this terminal to have a more competitive positioning in Atlantic traffic, namely with the USA.
 ONE, which started operations in 2018 and which includes the 3 main shipping companies in Japan – NYK, Mol and K Line – is the 7th largest container carrier in the world, with 205 ships (1.50 million TEU) and more than 130 weekly services to 120 countries in Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa and Oceania.
ONE's main service operating in the Port of Lisbon is IBESCO, which also calls in Leixões and goes to the ports of Northern Europe - London Gateway, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Aarhus and Gothenburg, with connections to services to the Far East, Transatlantic and Africa.
