Port of Lisbon was present at the 7th edition of Ship2Iberia, an online webinar that was held on 28th January. Manuela Patrício, Head of Port Terminals and Logistics Department and other representatives of Iberian ports authorities, share their perspectives about Covid-19 impact in the port business, future developments and technological innovation before and after the pandemic situation. In what concerns future projects, it was stress out the investment of 122M€ on Alcântara Container Terminal, managed by Yilport Liscont, which aims to cope the terminal with market needs, modernizing and improving operational efficiency. The modal shift to train and inland waterways in what concerns containers and the Inland Waterways Project that will link the port container traffic to Castanheira do Ribatejo fluvial infrastructure, that is being developed by ETE Group, were also highlight as goals to achieve .
