Port of Lisbon and Mobi.E sign protocol for decarbonization

The Port of Lisbon and Mobi.E signed a collaboration protocol at the event "Partnerships for the Decarbonization of the Port of Lisbon," which took place on February 16th at 10 a.m. in the auditorium of the Alcântara Maritime Terminal.
The Pilot Project "Electric Mobility" by Yilport-Liscont and the round table dedicated to the theme "Electrification of Road Freight Transport" will mark this event organized by both entities.
Moderated by Tiago Farias from the Superior Technical Institute, the debate will feature interventions from Alexandre Videira, Administrator of Mobi.E, Carlos Ferraz, President of APOCME (Portuguese Association of Electric Mobility Operators and Retailers), Hugo Luzia, Commercial Manager Trucks, Volvo Portugal, António Marques, General Director, Paço Rápido, and João Filipe Nunes, from the Customer Management Directorate of E-REDES.
The signing of the collaboration protocol between the Port of Lisbon and Mobi.E will conclude the morning dedicated to innovation, digitization, decarbonization, and intermodality in the port sector.
This is the first initiative of a series of actions that are part of the Roadmap for the Decarbonization of the Port of Lisbon and will be implemented throughout 2024.
For the President of the Board of Directors of the Port of Lisbon (APL), Carlos Correia, "The signing of the protocol with Mobi.E represents another step in promoting innovative and sustainable solutions in all dimensions of our activity and, in this particular case, in the transition process to electric mobility. We walk hand in hand with our partners to address the challenges of competitiveness and sustainability, reinforcing the positioning of the Port of Lisbon in the national and international strategy."
