Port of Lisbon present at the Green Energy Ports Conference
Port of Lisbon participated in the 5th edition of the Green Energy Ports Conference, which took place in Vigo on June 18 and 19.
This conference, addressing emerging topics such as energy transition in ships and ports, blue growth, and biodiversity preservation in ports, brought together numerous professionals from the maritime port sector and academia.
At this conference, Port of Lisbon presented its blue growth strategy, focusing on the Ocean Campus Strategic Plan, the Tagus Innov program, and the OPS project for supplying electrical power to ships at dock.
Prior to this conference, a meeting of the Atlantic Action Plan was held, in which Port of Lisbon also participated. During this meeting, progress made in Pillar I - Atlantic ports as gateways and hubs for the blue economy and Pillar IV - Healthy oceans and resilient coasts was presented, along with proposals for future developments.
