After the recent start of the project in the port of Setúbal, work has been advancing at quite a good rate in the port of Lisbon and the project is expected to go into production during the next month.
Last week, two important meetings took place with the Pilotage and Lisbon Marina functional areas.
At these meetings, attended by all port authorities’ counterparts, LSW mockups for the future Pilotage and Marina Management applications were presented and discussed.
The solution presented aims to provide a more efficient management and control of processes, through simple interactions, as well as integration services with the different authorities. It will also contribute to the simplification of tasks for the employees assigned to the Lisbon Marina.

 
 The Pilotage software will integrate all the port of Lisbon’s specific characteristics, allowing an effective and real-time control and monitoring of all manoeuvres.

The port of Lisbon shared its experience and specific knowledge about these two important areas, thus contributing to a significant improvement in the access to centralised information from any device.

The work is advancing at a good rate and we will frequently share all progresses.
