In the beginning of June, the M/V Dominica was loaded at the Port of Lisbon, with approximately 10,000 Tonnes of bulk cement cargo, at the Ership Lisboa (TMB) terminal, bound for Cape Verde (Praia and Mindelo ports).
In addition to bulk cement, the ship also carried, to the same destination, other general cargo such as cement slings, mortar pallets, cement glue and other equipment. The M/V Dominica has a length of 127 meters and a GT of 10,132 tonnes, having been this loading operation one of the largest with bulk cement, loaded at berth, in the Port of Lisbon in recent years.
It should be noted that the entire operation was carried out by companies of the Ership group: cargo terminal (Ership Lisboa-TMB), shipowner (Ership Internacional, SA) and shipping agency (Perez Torres Portugal, Ldª).
This operation demonstrates, once again, the versatility of this multipurpose terminal, as well as the relevance and capacity of the Port of Lisbon at the service of exporting companies.
