Port of Lisbon Showcases at Boot Düsseldorf 2024

The Port of Lisbon was represented at the largest European nautical event, the Düsseldorf International Boat Show, commonly known as Boot Düsseldorf or simply Boot. It was part of the joint stand of APPR, the Portuguese Association of Recreational Ports, and APP, the Association of Ports of Portugal. The event, which attracts around 230,000 visitors, hosts over 1,500 exhibitors from around the world, including boat manufacturers and suppliers from all areas related to the nautical tourism industry.
Representing the Administration of the Port of Lisbon (APL) were Administrator António Caracol and Ana Lourenço, responsible for Recreational Nautical Affairs. The participation allowed for important contacts with various stakeholders in the sector, providing an opportunity to showcase the projects and actions developed at the Marina de Lisboa. The national delegation included, among others, the Secretary of State for Fisheries, Dr. Teresa Coelho, the President of DocaPesca, Engº Sérgio Faias, representatives from Marina de Portimão, Marina de Vilamoura, and AEP, the Portuguese Business Association.
