APL – Administração do Porto de Lisboa, S.A. (Lisbon Port Authority) has, since august 1st, 2024, an Ethics Commission. This commission is one of its pillars for the promotion of a corporate culture of integrity and transparency. This body of our institution is independent and responsible for assuring all complaints and ethical issues are dealt with confidentially and in a safe manner. This way, we ensure the best practices for all the areas of activity of the Lisbon Port Authority.
The Ethics Commission provides safe and secure channels for employees and other stakeholders to report wrongdoing, ensuring complete confidentiality and protection against retaliations. In addition, the commission investigates complaints, proposes corrective measures and promotes awareness campaigns and ongoing training to reinforce an ethical culture within the organization.
The Ethics Commission commitment is clear: to ensure that all APL's actions are aligned with the highest standards of integrity, reinforcing the trust of our partners, customers and the community.
