      <description><![CDATA[<img src="http://www.portodelisboa.pt/portal/pls/portal/portal.galeria_pkg.ShowImg?pThingId=53304848" align="left" vspace="5" hspace="5" />On February 21st, the Port of Lisbon welcomes the AIDAmar cruise ship, which is taking a 11-night cruise starting in Palma de Mallorca, ending in Hamburg and calling Barcelona, Cadiz, Lisbon, Leixões, Ferrol, Le Havre, Dover and Rotterdam.
After a winter season in the Mediterranean and Atlantic, calling 8 times in the Port of Lisbon between December 2, 2018 and February 11, 2019, homeporting in Palma de Mallorca, AIDamar is now positioned in the north of Europe where she will take cruises until the end of November, and then return to the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
By the end of the year, AIDAmar has four more calls scheduled to the Port of Lisbon, on December 1st, during the repositioning cruise between northern Europe and the Mediterranean, at 9th, 18th and 31st]]></description>

      <title><![CDATA[First time ever! Baptism ceremonies take place in Lisbon]]></title>

      <description><![CDATA[<img src="http://www.portodelisboa.pt/portal/pls/portal/portal.galeria_pkg.ShowImg?pThingId=53302467" align="left" vspace="5" hspace="5" />The new cruise ship Mein Schiff 2 will be christened in Lisbon on February the 9th in what will be the first time a cruise ship elects a Portuguese port for such an important ceremony. On March 6 will be the turn of the old Mein Schiff 2 to be baptized with his current name Mein Schiff Herz.
On her maiden voyage between Bremerhaven and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Mein Schiff 2 arrives in Lisbon on the morning of February the 8th, and she will remain until the 10th.
Mein Schiff 2 will be christened the night of the 9th, by his godmother Carolin Niemczyk, the German vocalist of the duo Glasperlenspiel, in a ceremony on board and the ship will be positioned next to the bridge 25 of April. After the ceremony there will be fireworks that can be observed from the riverside front, approximately between 10:10 and 10:30 p.m.
