From 4th to 10th February the Port of Lisbon welcomes cruise ships – Mein Schiff Herz and Mein Schiff 2.
The Mein Schiff Herz Lisbon call on the 6th is part of a 10-night cruise that has Palma de Mallorca as homeport and Cadiz, Lisbon, Gibraltar, Malaga, Valencia and Barcelona as ports of call.
The new Mein Schiff 2 cruise ship will be christened in Lisbon on February 9, 2019, during her christening itinerary between Bremerhaven and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with calls in La Corunha, Leixões, Lisbon, where she will be docked from February 8 to 10, Cadiz and Arrecife.
This will be the first time that the city of Lisbon hosts the christening ceremony of a cruise ship, a choice that outlines the growing importance of the Portugal’s capital as a cruise hub.
