The port of Lisbon features two cruise terminals – Alcântara and Santa Apolónia -, located near the historical and cultural centre of the city, affording visitors easy and quick access to places of great tourist affluence. These infrastructures allow the port of Lisbon to receive all types of ships, assuring them that all safety requirements requested at international level are met. The port of Lisbon features also the new cruise quay, the Jardim do Tabaco quay.
Within the scope of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, access to cruise terminals is restricted. Entrance shall only be allowed when previously authorised
